Join us for a magical evening in the woods under the Full Moon in Capricorn 🐐✨
You’ll be guided through our forest trail — with our mischievous, leash-free goats leading the way — as the sun sets behind the Blue Ridge Mountains. Then, we’ll gather around the campfire for:
🔥 S’mores (build your perfect gooey creation)
📖 Storytelling around a campfire under moon rise
🌕 A cozy, peaceful vibe perfect for families, couples, or small groups

Join us for our three-part series as we explore the wild edibles of Appalachia. This will be a hands-on journey into the bounties of the season as we explore the art of safely and sustainably foraging and processing these wild gems.
All activities are voluntary but everyone must stay with the group during the event.
*This is an entirely outdoor event. All deposits are non-refundable. Please ask any questions before sending payment to [email protected]
Price is $25 per learner, per day or $70 for the entire series.

Introduction to Maps and Compass

**Event Full - This class will focus on beginner map and compass skills for kids. Once we have some practice, we will put our skills to the test with a compass guided scavenger hunt.

Macroinvertebrate Exploration

**Event Full -Macroinvertebrate Lesson with Caleb of Ever Wilder Farm: Join us in the creek to collect and identify macroinvertebrates! Learn what these tiny aquatic insects can tell us about the water quality of our streams! Wear rain boots or something that can get a little wet.
